Near many tourist destinations, like stasi museum, which was 15 minutes walk away. Samariterstrasse tube station is only 5 minutes' walk from hotel. Friedrichshain district definitely deserves exploring. We enjoyed staying at Best Western City Ost.

Very well located, underground is just right in front of the hotel, good price, clean. The room was also very quiet with the windows closed, although you are in front of a busy street.

The location was good with transport just outside the door. It was clean. There is a bakery and a supermarket on either side of the hotel. Our room was quiet.
Our hotel was at the back of the hotel and the view was unpleasant but we had asked for a quiet room and it was that even with the window open

Very good location, the U-Bahn station is directly in front of the hotel, with a 10 minute ride you can get straight to Alexanderplatz. Room is clean and well equipped, size is OK. Reception and cleaning service was also professional.
Absolutely no negative feelings about this hotel. The street where it is located has quite a lot of traffic, but they have superb windows, which let none of the noise through. Hint: It's not worth having breakfast at the hotel, as there is a bakers shop right next to it, which is much cheaper.

Comfortable room, clean bathroom, quiet (on the back side of the building), the metro station right in front of the hotel entrance, the lively neighborhood at night (nice little bars)
My Maestro card was refused at the reception for payment, while I was able to use it everywhere else during my stay... The slow internet connection on the computer at the reception, and couldn't find wifi from the room.

Excellent location with U Bahn on doorstep and 5 stops to Alexander Platz.Modern rooms (ask for courtyard side as quieter), good breakfast buffet, free internet in lobby, friendly staff. My 5th stay already should say all !
